Eastern Europe Trip - Day 1 + 2

6/27/2012   Wednesday

The trip to Eastern Europe was decided a long time ago, roughly about 6 months ago (yup, January of this year).  The reason for going is not just to see the European buildings for myself, but also to learn about their architecture, musical background, and history.  Which all relates to fine art and graphic design that I teach.

According to the tour agency, the 1st day would be flying from LAX to Germany's Frankfurt's airport.  When I arrive there along with my friend in the afternoon of the local time, it's consider the 2nd day, and the local tour leader (we all call her tour guide for the sake of our memory) will start a city tour right away for a few hours and then take us to the hotel.

Here are the photos....

The flight we were on is Lfthansa.  We departed from LAX around 2pm on July 27th, Wednesday.

This is the flight attendant who I thought was pretty professional!  I even showed him some photos of him, and he was impressed!  He even asked if I'm a photographer, haha.

 This is the Frankfurt Airport.

Our tour leader, Sally, was at the Frankfurt Airport arrival terminal to pick us up with other tour members, and then we head straight to Prague in Czech Republic by bus.

The city tour in the afternoon is considered the 2nd day in the itinerary.

I think this is one of the buildings of a local university.  I think this is their theatre department?
